China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is a prominent Chinese state-owned enterprise operating in Tanzania, renowned for its significant contributions to the country's infrastructure development.

CCECC has been instrumental in executing major infrastructure projects across Tanzania, including:



Central Railway Line Rehabilitation: Upgrading 985 kilometers of the existing railway line to enhance connectivity between inland provinces and neighboring landlocked countries with sea ports.


Magufuli Bridge (Kigongo–Busisi Bridge): Constructing a 3.2 km bridge over Lake Victoria, connecting the Mwanza and Geita regions, expected to be completed by the end of 2024.


Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Projects: Involved in constructing key sections of Tanzania's SGR, notably the Isaka–Mwanza and Tabora–Kigoma segments, enhancing the country's rail network.
