The College of Business Education (CBE) is a public higher learning institution in Tanzania, established in 1965. It operates under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and is accredited by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET).

CBE offers a range of academic programs across four campuses: Dar es Salaam (main campus), Dodoma, Mwanza, and Mbeya. The institution provides:



Certificate and Diploma programs (NTA Levels 4–6)


Bachelor’s degrees (NTA Levels 7–8)


Postgraduate Diplomas and Master’s degrees


Key areas of specialization include Accountancy, Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement and Supplies Management, Information Technology, Metrology and Standardization, Human Resource Management, and Business Studies with Education.
As of the 2023/2024 academic year, CBE has a total enrollment of 19,072 students across its campuses.
