Maternity Africa is a Christian-based non-profit NGO in Tanzania, primarily focused on improving maternal health care and treating obstetric fistula among marginalized women and girls .

Registered in Tanzania (NGO No. 00NGO/R2/000524) and operates mainly in the Arusha region.


Kivulini Maternity Centre (in Arusha) is their flagship facility — a 48-bed hospital featuring:



Full maternity services: antenatal, delivery, postnatal


Emergency 24‑hour obstetric care


Transitional neonatal unit


Obstetric fistula surgical unit




Projects also extend to other hospitals like Dareda District Hospital in Mbulu (200 beds) and initiatives in Ethiopia.
