Mr. Kahawa began in 2014 as a small coffee shop in Paje, Zanzibar, designed to provide great coffee, healthy food, and reliable internet. Over time, it grew into a boutique hotel and café-restaurant. The founders were inspired by Zanzibar’s natural beauty, culture, and community. Today, it’s also strongly connected with the local kite surfing scene, as Paje is one of the world’s top kite surfing destinations.
