HSEQ: Respect of the Golden rules and all the HSE rules and standards of TOTAL by all the staff, contractors, customers…
Assist the key account manager in the preparation of Construction and mining segments annual, monthly and weekly action plans
Assist the key account manager in the development of a prospection and penetration action plan for Construction and mining segments
Assist the key account manager in the procurement of tenders, preparation of proposals, post tender and contract negotiation
Assist the key account manager to execute all basic TOTAL client contractual obligations pertaining to Construction and mining segments in tandem with other company departments (equipment installation, credit management, maintenance of equipment, efficient logistics, and after sales service)
Create data base and maintains records of equipment inventory that has been installed at client sites and history of equipment transfers, and calibration works done at the sites.
Assist the key account manager to communicate individual prices to each customer at the beginning of the month, generate and monitor volume, margin and risk levels of business so as to identify improvement levers in order to attain monthly Budget
Assist the key account manager to monitor on weekly basis stock levels at client sites to enable efficient scheduling of deliveries against client orders.
Assist the key account manager in the implementation of controls (price, margin and credit) by use of tools (daily volume and margin reporting, credit limit reviews, waivers, and credit control meetings)
Assist the key account manager in the implementation of client training programs either at specific venues or at client sites
Use of SALSA to record prospects, and existing client information including all visits and meetings made
Assist the key account manager to submits statement of accounts, make direct follow up on collection of customer accounts, obtains a confirmation of account balances and participate in reconciliation of accounts.
Understand, and implement all GT procedures including creation and maintenance of client files.
Participate in TOTAL compensation schemes including Variable compensation scheme
Assist the key account manager, to register in SALSA Case files all complaints received from clients and carry out proper diagnosis and attend to client complaints.

GT Market in Tanzania Very competitive market
(Consumers including the Construction and mining segments are striving for dedicated service, products and onsite services of High quality, continuous improvement programs on one hand and discounted price levels on the other., Major Consumers have maintained long term relationships with suppliers.
TOTAL has a Strong presence on Construction segment, but relatively low presence in mining segment
There is still reluctance by major consumers in construction segment to submit cover/guarantee for trade debts.
Implementation of GT Sales Assistant duties calls for direct liaison with all other departments.

Candidate profile

 

Basic Degree in Engineering fields
Proactive
Good personality and ambitious to achieve best possible results.
Good and sound knowledge of corporate sales and foreign languages
Excellent computer skills.
