Overview

Roles and responsibilities;

Ø  Processing invoices, receipts and payment

Ø  Management of receivables and payables

Ø  Managing Asset register

Ø  Preparation of financial monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports

Ø  Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation

Ø  Manage petty cash and bank payments; keep accounts, including supporting documents and book-keeping records

Ø  Preparation of payrolls, manage payment of salaries and contributions (WCF, NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, SDL) for local project’s staff

Ø  Ensure all payments have adequate supporting documents and that all necessary authorization has been obtained for all payments

Ø  Perform other Accounting and Administrative jobs as may be directed by the Managing Director

Qualification

Ø  Strong Financial Accounting background

Ø  University Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a reputable University

Ø  At least three years of experience in handling financial records, reporting and taxation matters in a reputable company.

Ø  Experience in Car Hire, Tourism and Hospitality Industries.

Ø  Working Proficiency in Electronic Financial Accounting Systems and spreadsheets.

Ø  Good command of Kiswahili and English languages, both spoken and written.

Ø  Tanzanian National, of good repute. Women are highly encouraged to apply.

Ø  Good interpersonal skills

Ø  Good communication skills, should be able to communicate complex financial matters to non-technical experts

Ø  Team player, able to work with colleagues of all cadres across the organization

Ø  Flexible to working hours

Ø  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Minimum experience: Three years
