Overview

This position entails planning, managing and delivering strategies of  marketing initiatives for Boomplay in Tanzania, set specific marketing goals, design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support Marketing Manager- Offline activation in seeing the strategies to life
  • Manage event budgets
  • Ensure adherence to schedule and timely achievement and execution of reports, plans  and strategy milestones
  • Manage the distribution of on-site collateral & giveaways
  • Work with the team on design and execution of collateral & promo items
  • Support the production & execution of marketing events
  • Report & presenting performance analysis for all strategies put in place and activated
  • Liaise with the team to ensure content & event happenings are amplified via media channels
  • Research market to identify new opportunities
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote brand and its products

  • Proven track record in strong strategies, management and delivery
  • Ability to manage time & deadlines, prioritize and re-prioritize workload needed
  • Good communication (Verbal & Written), strong negotiation and inter-personal skills
  • Superb organizational and planning skills
  • Good attention to detail

Experience and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Marketing or any relevant field
  • 1-3 years of strategy  management experience
  • Experience in activations will be a plus
