In this role, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, tax compliance, and more, for both a preschool and a student transport service company. If you have a passion for numbers and financial management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Payroll & Employee Payments: Ensure accurate salary payments and statutory deductions.
- Invoicing & Credit Control: Manage invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable.
- Tax Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely submission of VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns.
- Internal Controls & Audit: Implement financial controls and prepare for audits.
- Operational Support: Provide financial insights for business growth and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
- At least 3-5 years of accounting experience (experience in education or transport industry is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Xero).
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations.
