BFS Microfinance Limited is inviting competent, suitable, and self-motivated young Tanzanians to apply for Loan Officer and Recovery Officer opportunities at its various branches in the Lake Region. Below are the details of the available positions:

Available Positions:

1. Experienced Loan Officers – 3 Posts
   Responsibilities:

   • Identify potential markets and make sales to attract customers/borrowers.

   • Conduct thorough loan appraisals for customers who have shown interest in borrowing.

   • Analyze and review the quality of potential and existing business to ensure maximum profitability.

   • Monitor loan repayments and follow up on late repayments.

   • Recover all defaulted loans from individuals and branch portfolios.

2. Experienced Recovery Officers – 3 Posts (Based in Mwanza)
   Responsibilities:

   • Responsible for recovering outstanding debts as assigned.

   • Develop a recovery strategy for each case and follow up on its implementation to ensure maximum recoveries.

   • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on recovery progress and projections.

   • Conduct field visits to collect payments or assess collateral.

   • Prepare and document recovery plans and correspondence.

   • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

General Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2 years as a Recovery Officer or Loan Officer in a reputable institution.

• Education: A minimum of a Diploma and a maximum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields.

• Age: Between 20 and 35 years.
