Junior Accountant at Expert Consultancy

Location: ArushaJob Type: Full time jobSalary Range: TZS 300,000/= to 600,000/=On behalf of our client we are looking for a motivated and detailed Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and assist with reporting and compliance processes.Key Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and post the general ledger
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts receivable/payable
• Help with inventory and asset tracking
• Maintain proper filling and documentation of financial records
• Support senior accountants and finance managers with audits and tax returns
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
• 1-2 year of experience in an accounting or finance role (internship included)
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks, Tally)
• High level of accuracy, attention to details, and organizational skills
