We are seeking a Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and compliance with procurement policies.Key Responsibilities:• Procurement and SourcingIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure the best value for the company.
• Vendor and Supplier ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.Evaluate supplier performance regularly and address any concerns.• Purchasing and Inventory ManagementPrepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.Maintain accurate procurement records, including invoices and purchase agreements.• Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.Minimize procurement risks by conducting due diligence on suppliers.• Budgeting and Cost ControlAssist in preparing procurement budgets and controlling expenditures.Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product/service quality.
