Job Summary:On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The role focuses on cost management, tendering processes and contract administration, ensuring efficiency and value throughout project execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control throughout project execution.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
- Manage and review variations, claims, and payment applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of tendering procedures and contract management.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost control techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
