- Job Description:A salesperson is responsible for generating and fostering relationships with potential customers to increase sales and achieve sales targets. They should possess strong communication skills, a persuasive manner, and a proactive approach to selling products or services.Key responsibilities may include:- Identifying potential customers and making cold calls or visits to introduce products or services- Presenting and demonstrating products or services to customers- Negotiating and closing sales deals- Following up with customers for repeat business or referrals- Maintaining accurate sales records and reports- Keeping up to date on industry trends and competitors- Providing excellent customer service before and after sales- Collaborating with marketing and product development teams to optimize sales opportunitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a results-driven mindset are essential for success in this role. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is also desired.
