Job Advertisement – Site Civil EngineerPosition Title: Civil EngineerLocation: Geita - TanzaniaEmployment Type: One year contract (With Renewable Option)Experience Required: Minimum 5 YearsAbout the PositionWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, designing, and executing civil engineering projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and regulations.Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare project reports, drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project execution.
- Review and approve construction materials and workmanship.
- Prepare project schedules and progress reports for management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years proven working experience in civil engineering projects.
- Registered with ERB or relevant professional board is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and other engineering software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Teamwork and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
