Job Description
Victoria Insurance Brokers Ltd, a licensed insurance brokerage firm operating under the Insurance Act, Cap. 394, is seeking accomplished individuals to join its Board of Directors. This recruitment process is managed by the Institute of Directors in Tanzania (IoDT) to ensure a transparent, merit-based, and regulator-compliant selection.
Core Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Proven leadership and governance experience at board or senior-executive level.
- Sound knowledge of the finance, risk, or insurance sectors.
- Impeccable integrity, independent judgment, and a strong ethical compass.
- Superior strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. table duties (approximately 10-15 days annually) and uphold confidentiality.
Minimum Eligibility
- Tanzanian citizenship.
- A relevant university degree.
- Fit-and-proper status as defined by the Insurance Act and the CMSA Code of Corporate Governance.
- Possession of an IoDT Certificate in Directorship or Mastery in Directorship qualification is a distinct advantage.
