Job Title: Electrical Engineer

(5 Positions Available)

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be tasked with critical functions that ensure the successful execution and compliance of our electrical engineering projects:

• Project Supervision: Oversee and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, focusing on transmission and distribution networks.
• Documentation and Reporting: Develop and prepare comprehensive technical reports, engineering drawings, and required documentation for projects, particularly those related to the Rural Energy Agency (REA) and other utility clients.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to established design standards, safety procedures, and project specifications.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key liaison, effectively coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure all project milestones are met on schedule.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough on-site quality inspections and diligently verify work progress to maintain the highest standards of execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience is mandatory, with a significant background in REA projects, Transmission Line works, or Distribution Line works.
• Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge in key areas, including power line construction, substations, and electrical design.
• Registration (Advantageous): Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) is considered a significant advantage.
• Core Competencies: Demonstrate excellent communication abilities and proven team coordination skills.

Working Station

Positions are based in Dodoma and may require deployment to other sites across Tanzania and Eastern Africa.
