We are currently seeking highly motivated and skilled technicians for permanent employment at our Mbeya Plant.
1. Mechanical Technician

Main Responsibilities
- Implement routine Preventive Maintenance checks, including vibration and temperature inspections on designated rotating equipment, and accurately log all readings.
- Repair and maintain static equipment, including valves, pipework, pressure vessels, and tanks.
- Execute all planned mechanical activities while strictly adhering to required safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and conduct basic Root Cause Analysis for equipment, identifying and reporting issues promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with standards, tolerances, and fits, applying sound engineering practices to all tasks, both on-site and occasionally in contractor workshops.
- Report on resource and time usage, job scope expansions, rework, or deferred maintenance, ensuring all tasks and activities are logged and updated.

Technical Skills | Mechanical upgrading skills (Fitter, Welding, and Turning), Belt splicing technology (cold repair, hot splicing, pulley lagging, and belt alignment), reading technical and specification sheets, and hands-on equipment experience. |
Behavioral Skills | Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. |
2. Instrumentation Technician

Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
- Calibrate instruments according to standards for accurate and efficient use.
- Check the integrity and accuracy of instruments such as flowmeters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and weigh scales.
- Disassemble instruments, examine mechanisms, clean parts, and replace worn or broken components.
- Disconnect inaccurate or damaged instruments and execute suitable replacements.
- Conduct scheduled inspections of instruments and make necessary adjustments to those not functioning correctly; clean, dust, and verify integrity via testing apparatus.

Behavioral Skills | Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications. |
3. Electrical Technician

Main Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning electrical systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown and resolve faults.
- Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and needs for adjustment or repairs, correcting all findings as per industry standards.
- Diagnose electrical circuit breakers, transformers, and other components to ensure they operate at full capacity.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuitry in equipment and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Repair/replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures; install ground leads; and connect power cables to equipment such as Motors.
