 WE’RE HIRING: PROCESS PLANT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORLocation: Singida Gold MineWork Schedule: 6 Weeks On / 3 Weeks OffAccommodation: CampReports To: Process Plant Maintenance SuperintendentRole OverviewThe PP Maintenance Supervisor coordinates plant maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and equipment availability. The role oversees servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems—especially crushing, milling, and CIL circuits. It requires strong leadership to promote safety, cost efficiency, and operational reliability, while ensuring compliance with SMCL standards and environmental regulations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Safety & Environmental ComplianceEnforce SMCL safety and environmental proceduresLead risk assessments and hazard reportingMonitor PPE use and safety practicesEnsure spillage control, waste management, and safe storage2. Team Supervision & DevelopmentSupervise and train artisans, addressing skill gapsConduct toolbox meetings; maintain discipline recordsManage appraisals and foster accountability3. Maintenance Planning & ExecutionMeet availability targets via preventive/corrective maintenanceSet daily/weekly team targetsRespond to breakdowns, find root causes, and resolveOversee water and tailings pump system upkeep4. Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with Production and Process teamsCommunicate shutdowns, risks, and resource needs5. Breakdown & Production Risk ManagementMaintain breakdown records and escalate issuesIdentify and act on production risks or escalate appropriately6. Cost & Resource ControlOptimize use of people, tools, and materialsPropose improvements and cost-saving ideas7.
